Gmail Not Syncing Steps
Gmail is a popular Email service, and millions of people around the world have their account on Gmail. If you have account on Gmail and your account is not working, then, try the following steps to make your account work again:
- Update your GMail App. It might happen that Gmail was asking for update and you were unable to notice it, then, check if it is needed to update the Gmail, update it as soon as possible if it is asking. But make sure that you use a better internet speed.
- Restart your device: This generally solves the issue.
- Check your Settings:
- Check if you have accidentally or intentionally had turned on the Airplane Mode,
- If this happened turn it off.
- Open settings app of the device .
- Tap Network & Internet > turn off Airplane mode.

Check Gmail sync settings:
- Open the Gmail App .
- On the left, tap Menu , then, Settings.
- Tap on My Account.
- Check if the box next to “Sync Gmail” is checked, if not, then, check it.

Check your phone or tablet settings:
- Open the Settings App of the device.
- Tap Users and accounts .
- Turn on Automatically sync data.

Clear your storage:

Syncing does not work if the phone or tablet is running out of storage. To clear space on your device:

Uninstall junk apps i.e. apps which you have not used for long.

In the download section of your device, delete the files which are not needed and which are needed, move those files to the another drive.

Clear Your Gmail information :

Open the Settings App of your device.

Tap Apps & Notifications.

In Apps & Notifications, you see the App info.

Tap on App info.

In the App info,click on Gmail, then, tap on Storage.

Tap Clear Data.

Tap OK.
